Those gorgeous folk over at Rock My Style came for tea and cake - iv had a couple of emails asking for specifics so here are some of the finer details room by room... xo

H A L L
Makes enough of a statement with the exposed wood and original floor details, so we wanted to keep it totally free of furniture and styled elements with the exception of a standard lamp.

Detail:

L O U N G E
With a feature fireplace, bay window and tall shelves, the lounge is my favourite room. The light in this room in the evening is beautiful and so relaxing. I have chosen white, shades of grey and black as the main colours with a small hint of metallics in the cushions.

I am a total cushion obsessive and have mixed and matched lots of textures... The cushions are from Jonathan Adler, Heals, Laura Ashley and John Lewis, Conran Shop {dark grey weave from current season} and Mabel and Bird {geometric prints from current season}

Art is all collected since we met {our 4th date was in Paris so there’s a bit of a theme going on!} that we have had framed by Friargate Frames of Darley Abbey who offer a bespoke service. I also collect work from Vintage playing cards, often imitated but the originals are the best.

K I T C H E N
The only room that we steer away from the colour palette and go for a pop of colour.

Art includes Home Sweet Home which was a house warming present from one of my lovely friends and my initials as Jessica Hische prints.
The letterpress magnets are from my BFF, Helen who also works with me {along with my lovely super-mum and Rebecca and my extended team of printers and suppliers who help me run my studio}.
Daffodils from the Blossom Tree in a little vase that is a set of 3 from The Conran Shop.
Vintage cream Anglepoise, you can get similar in Liberty.
Everything else is from Anthropologie - butter dish, glassware, timer etc.

M A S T E R B E D R O O M
I wanted to create a really relaxing space that felt a little more feminine so painted the walls in a soft shade of truffle with soft furnishings in shades of grey and the palest pinks.

Drawers - were generic dark wood and painted and waxed handles from Bombay Duck with my favourite trinkets on
Window Seat - was a coffee table and I up cycled it using Annie Sloan paint and Kate Forman fabric

B A T H R O O M
As you can see I am bit of a product junkie... Cowshed, Neals Yard, Sanctuary, Kevin Murphy, Creme De La Mer, Clinique... you name it and iv tried it!
